Which Size Purifier Is Right for Me?
Austin Air Purifiers are available in two sizes:
The standard size units will purify areas up to 1500 sq. ft. of living space on a single level.
The junior size units will purify areas up to 700 sq. ft. of living space of on single level.
Both the Standard and the Junior size units cover areas assumes standard ceiling heights of 8 ft.
To determine your needs simply measure the length and width of the the area you wish to purify and multiply them. The presence od walls will not affect the efficiency of your unit, but closed doors will because they impeded air flow. For this reason Austin Air recommends placing your purifier in the bedroom with the door closed while you sleep to maximize your health benefits. Breathing clean air while you sleep allows your body to concentrate on repairing and rejuvenating itself without spending energy defending itself form airborne viruses, bacteria, molds, gases, chemicals, etc.

This machine is designed specifically for allergy and asthma suffers. It provides identical particle removal capacity and efficiency of the HealthMate™. Good for those with allergies to mold, dust mites and hay fever as well as individuals who smoke.
Because the carbon cloth does not release carbon dust when air passes through it, the design of the filter places the True Medical HEPA paper on the outside of the filter allowing the air to pass through the paper before it passes though the carbon. Because of this design, the air born particles are removed before the air contacts the carbon. The total surface areas of the carbon is available for gas and odor removal only and its useful life is increased. The lighter weight of this unit allows for easier care and maintenance.

This machine is user specific. Although it provides the same benefits as the standard HealthMate™, the addition of potassium iodine (along with the zeolite), provides greater relief for people with severe chemical sensitivities. It is highly recommended for people with this ailment.
